The correct option is B Both Assertion and Reason are correct but Reason is not the correct explanation for Assertion
On increasing temperature of wire the kinetic energy of free electrons increase and so they collide more rapidly with each other.
This has inhibit their drift velocity and the relaxation time also decreases.
Also when temperature increases, resistance increase and resistance is inversely proportional to conductivity of material,due to above mentioned reason.
