The correct option is B Assertion is wrong but Reason is correct.
Magnetic moment depends upon number of unpaired electrons and given by
=n(n+2)
Here, n is the number of unpaired electrons.
Hence, The magnetic moment of N-atom (3 unpaired electrons) is more than magnetic moment of O-atom (2 unpaired electrons ) and former has more number of unpaired electrons.
Thus reason is correct.
The magnetic moment of Mg-atom (0 unpaired electrons) is less than K-atom 91 unpaired electron).
Thus, the assertion is incorrect.
