The correct option is A Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion
Mass number=Number of protons+Number of neutrons
Mass number of 11H=1+10 [No neutron in hydrogen]
Mass number of hydrogen= 1
As atomic number is equal to Number of protons and in case of hydrogen Mass number is equal to number of proton. Therefore atomic number is equal to its Mass number. Presence of no neutron is the reason for same atomic and mass number. If there would have been presence of any neutron then it would have added with proton and given mass different than atomic number.
