The correct option is A Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion
Higher the frequency of sound, higher will be the pitch of that sound and vice-versa.
As flute produces the sound of higher frequency than that of tabla, thus sound produced by flute is more shrill (i.e. has higher pitch) than that produced by tabla.
Hence both the statements are correct and the reason explains the assertion very well.
