These reactive species then react with the ozone to release diatomic oxygen and molecular oxygen. The concentration of the ozone decreases and it is called the ozone hole.

Ozone hole does not release in the global warming and climate change. These are caused by greenhouse gases. Ozone hole causes an increase in the infiltration of the UV to the earth's surface.
