Assertion :When a stationary object is observed from rotating frame of reference, the object is seen to rotate in the reverse direction with the same angular velocity as that of the frame. Reason: Rotating frame of reference is non-inertial frame and from this frame we have to apply a centrifugal force which balances the centripetal force.
