A body with mass m on rough surface having friction coefficient μ
Acceleration1=Fμmgm where F is external force
If we increase the external force twice , Acceleration2=2Fμmgm
Acceleration2 is not double of Acceleration1
But, acceleration is directly proportional to resultant force acting on the body, where 1/m is constant.
