Astronauts were moving towards space in the space shuttle. After regular interval of time it was announced that they were moving from one sphere to another sphere. Among the following which property will change while moving from one sphere to another.
All of these.
Kinetic Molecular Theory proposes that a gas is composed of a large number of particles in rapid motion. Each particle occasionally collides with a wall of the container. As a result of that collision, the particle exerts a force on the wall. A measure of the average force on a surface gives us a measure of the pressure.
As you move up in the atmosphere there are fewer molecules above you, so the air pressure is lower. The constantly decreasing air pressure in conjunction with the ground-up heating keeps the temperature in the troposphere decreasing with height. So, temperature, density and pressure decrease with increase in height.
