Initially, there were 10 children present. When 15 more children joined, more chocolates were bought from the shop.
This is a case of direct proportion.
Using the formula for direct proportion,
Number of chocolatesNumber of children = constant
4010 = Total number of chocolates25
Total number of chocolates = 4 × 25 = 100.

When 5 more children joined, the shop had been closed and the existing chocolates had to be distributed.
Number of chocolates received by every child = 10025=4
