Let the height of the pole be $h$
Then
$6 : 8 = h : 20$
$\frac{6}{8} = \frac{h}{20}$
$8 h = 20 \times 6$
$8 h = 120$
$h = \frac{120}{8}$
$h = 15$
Hence the required height of the pole is $15 m .$
