Solution

The correct option is A 160 mL
Given: T = constant
At initial condition, V1 = 200 mL,P1 = 0.720 bar
At final condition, P2 = 0.900 bar,V2 = ?
According to Boyle' law,
P1V1 = P2V2
V2 = P1V1P2 = 0.720×2000.900
V2 = 160 mL
The resulting volume of the gas is 160 mL.
