Solution

The correct option is A Fall vertically with an acceleration g(dρd)
Let the volume of sphere be V.
So its mass is, m=Vd

When released in the liquid,
Gravitational force in downward direction is, Fg=mg=Vdg
Buoyancy force in the upward direction is, Fb=Vρg

Net force on the sphere, Fnet=FgFb=VG(dρ)

So net acceleration is, Fnet/m=Vg(dρ)/Vd=g(dρd)

Option C is correct.
