At a given time a house is supplied with 100 A at 220 V. How many 75 W, 220 V light bulbs could be switched on in the house at the same time (if they are all connected in parallel)?

let we consider x bulb in parallel then P= VI

power of 1 bulb = 75 ( given)

power of x bulbs = 75x
P=VI
75X = 220×100


X = (220 × 100)/ 75

=293.333 293 bulbs
