Solution: 2 Marks

$\frac{No.ofboys}{No.ofgirls}=\frac{6}{11}$

The ratio does not change if we multiply both numerator and denominator with the same number. Let that number be n,where n is an integer as n represents number of students.

Now, 6n + 11n = 425

n = 25

So, number of boys = 6n = 150
