S.I=AP

=1000
1000=1000×r1×5100(SI=PTR100)
r1=1005=20
For Part 2
P=1000
r=r2
t=12
A=3000
S.I=AP
=30001000
=2000
2000=1000×r2×12100(PTR100=S.I)
r2=2×10012
=16.67%
Since r2>r1
Better rate of interest is 16.67%.
