During joint diastole blood is poured into left and right atria. Due to this filling of blood during joint diastole, atrioventricular valves (Bicuspid and Tricuspid valves) open and allows blood to flow from atria to ventricles. During joint diastole there is 70% filling of ventricles. the following is characterized by appearing of p wave in ECG.
