The correct option is B 60 degrees
As air current move towards the poles from the equator, their temperature goes on decreasing. This is because of increase in altitudes. This decrease can be as less as 60 degrees at the poles than at the equator.
One of the main reasons for this phenomenon is that the sun lies over head at the equator and it's rays are directly incident over i t. While at the poles, it is present at a slant ans it's rays are incident at an angle.
