Acceleration due to gravity above the surface of earth at a height h is g which is given as

g=g(12hRe)

Here, g=0.98 g

0.98g=g(12hRe)

0.98=(12hRe)

2hRe=0.02h=0.01Re=0.01×6400

h=64 km

Therefore, option (b) is correct.
