At what height do we find the Alpine and Tundra vegetation? Write two features of such vegetation.

Dear Student,

Alpine vegetation is found at an altitude of 3600 meters above the sea level.
These get stunted as they move towards the snow-line. The common trees of these forests include junipers, pines and birches.

Tundra vegetation is found at a height of 1000 to 2000 meters above the sea level.
These are wet, temperate type forests,where the flora is adapted to difficult climatic conditions. Trees like oaks and chestnuts are usually found here.
