Solution
Mold:
Mold is a fungus that is mostly found in moist and damp places.
Example:
Rhizopus stolonifera, Stachybotrys chartarum
.
They reproduce by forming spores. These spores are present in the air; when they land on moist surfaces they start to grow.
Mold spores can cause respiratory problems, itchy or red eyes, skin infections, headaches, etc.
Mold spores generally die at 60-71°C. However, some of them are resistant to heat.
