At what temperature does water boil ?

It depends on the ambient air pressure.In areas of low pressure-- for instance at high altitudes outdoor(the top of a mountain for instance)--water boils at low tempreture.In a high pressure environment for instance-- pressure cooker, water boils at a higher temperature.


At 1 atmosphere, the standard air pressure at sea level, the boiling temperature of water is 100 degree celcius.
