Solution

The correct option is C Lemon
Placentation is the method by which the Placenta is distributed inside the ovary of the plants. Basically there are five types of placentation that occurs in flowering plants. These five types are axile, basal, superficial, marginal and parietal.

In axile placentation the placenta is located on the central column and the ovary is sectioned into to separate locals with the help of radial spokes.
The number of of separating chambers corresponds to the number of carpels present in the ovary.

The ovules are attached to the placenta in a multilocular ovary.
In multicarpellary syncarpous ovaries, the carpels fuse to form septa which forms a central axis. The ovules are arranged on this axis. Examples are lemon, china rose and tomato.

Argemone, dianthus and pea are examples of parietal, free central and marginal placentation, respectively.

So, the correct answer is "LEMON".
