Check whether the given fraction are equivalent:
310,1250
Equivalent fractions are fractions which represent the same part of the whole.
To find an equivalent fraction of a given fraction, we may multiply or divide both the numerator and the denominator of the given fraction by the same number.
The given fractions are 310, 1250.
A fraction is said to be in the simplest (or lowest) form if its numerator and denominator have no common factor except 1.
310 is in its simplest form.
Simplest form of 1250=12 ÷ 250 ÷ 2=625≠310
Therefore, 310, 1250 are not equivalent.
(∵ If two fractions are not equal in their simplest from then they are not equivalent)
