$\square -\frac{3}{21}=\frac{5}{21}$

The above equation is $\square -\frac{3}{21}=\frac{5}{21}$.

We transfer $-\frac{3}{21}$ from the left-hand side to the right-hand side of the equation.

The equation becomes $\square =\frac{5}{21}+\frac{3}{21}$

Therefore the missing fraction = $\frac{5}{21}+\frac{3}{21}=\frac{5+3}{21}=\frac{8}{21}$
