Solution

Answer:
  • In unicellular organisms like amoeba excretory organs are absent and thus excretion takes place through the process of simple diffusion.
  • Amoeba has osmoregulatory organelle called the contractile vacuole which collects water and waste produced in the body, swells up and reaches the surface and bursts to release its contents outside and carbon dioxide is excreted by diffusion through the cell membrane with the help of contractile vacuole.
