Arranging the given organisms in a food chain we get, Paddy → Mice → Snake → Hawk​ According to the ten percent law, only 10% of the energy is available to the organism in the succeeding trophic level.​
  • So, if 10,000 J of energy is available to paddy, only 10% of it will be available to the mice.​
  • Thus, the mice will receive 1000 J of energy.​
  • Similarly, the snake will receive 100 J of energy and the hawk will get 10 J of energy.​ ​
