Solve the following equations :
-4=5(p-2)

Use distributive property : A(B+C)=AB+AC
$-4=5(p-2)\Rightarrow -4=5\times p-5\times 2\Rightarrow -4=5p-10$
$\Rightarrow 5p-10=-4$ $\Rightarrow 5p=-4+10$ $\Rightarrow 5p=6$
$\Rightarrow p=\frac{6}{5}$
