Question 2 (b)
Where will the hand of a clock stop if it:
Starts at 2 and makes 12 of a revolution, clockwise?
If the analogue clock is divided into 12 equal parts, then the clockwise movement of the hour hand from 12 to 6 covers half of a full revolution.
Half of the revolution means 180∘, which means after 6 hours.
And 6 hours after 2 means at 8.
Therefore the hour hand will stop at 8.
