Which direction will you face if you start facing:

East and make $1 \frac{1}{2}$ of a revolution clockwise?

Solution

If one is facing towards east and has to turn clockwise by one and a half revolutions, he/she is effectively turning by half a revolution. On completion of one full revolution, he/she will be back at the same spot. Then the remaining half revolution or $180^{\circ}$ will make him/her face towards west.
