Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants prepare their own food from carbon dioxide and water by using sunlight energy in the presence of chlorophyll.
Chloroplasts are the sites of photosynthesis in plants.
All green parts of a plant, including the green stems, green leaves, and sepals – floral parts comprise of chloroplasts and perform photosynthesis.
