Write the following number in the form $\frac{p}{q}$, where p and q are integers.

Three and half mean three full and one half.

Hence, three and half = $3+\frac{1}{2}=\frac{3}{1}+\frac{1}{2}=\frac{3\times 2}{1\times 2}+\frac{1}{2}$

$=\frac{6}{2}+\frac{1}{2}=\frac{6+1}{2}=\frac{7}{2}$
