(i) ‘Baa baa black sheep, have you any wool.’
(ii) ‘Mary had a little lamb, whose fleece was white as snow

Answer the following:
(b) What is meant by the white fleece of the lamb?

Answer 1

White fleece means the white coloured fur of the lamb.
Not all lambs are white. Some breeds of sheep produce lambs that are black while others are a rusty brown colour.
