$B a b i t a b o u g h t 160 k g m a n g o e s = R s . 48 p e r k g S o, t o t a l a m o u n t s h e p a i d = R s . 48 \times 160 = R s . 7680 S h e s o l d 70 % o f m a n g o e s a t R s . 70 p e r k g . ∴ C o s t o f 70 % m a n g o e s = 160 \times \frac{70}{100} \times 70 = 70 \times 16 \times 7 = R s . 7840 R e m a i n i n g m a n g o e s = (100 - 70) % = 30 % C o s t o f r e m a i n i n g a t R s . 40 p e r k g = 160 \times \frac{30}{100} \times 40 = 16 \times 3 \times 40 = R s . 1920 T o t a l a m o u n t r e c e i v e d a f t e r s e l l i n g m a n g o e s = R s . 7840 + R s . 1920 = R s . 9760 ∴ S P > C P, s o t h e r e i s a g a i n . G a i n = S P - C P = R s . 9760 - R s . 7680 = R s . 2080 ∴ G a i n % = \frac{G a i n}{C P} \times 100 ∴ G a i n % = \frac{2080}{7680} \times 100 = 27.08 %$
