Ball has more inertia than a piece of paper. Then why does ball fall first than the paper when thrown from a height

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student
if the above experiment is done in absence of vaccum both ball and papper will reach down at same time because In presence of vacuum , there's no any drag force, while in absence of vacuum there are drag forces due to air resistance and this air resistance is not same on different bodies because it depends on the surface area that faces the resistance
so the ball will reach first
Hope this helps you
