The correct option is C 12 cm
Let height of a triangle be of y length.
Hence base then will be 3×y = 3y
Area of triangle = 12×base×height
24 = 12×3y×y
y2 = 24×23 = 8×2 = 16
y = 16
y = 4
height = 4 cm
Hence, base = 3y = 3×4 = 12 cm
