The correct option is B Movement of solute will take place from A to B
The water in the chamber A has less amount of solute particles and hence the water potential in chamber A is higher so the water molecules in chamber A can move easily. Therefore the solvent molecules or the water molecules will move from chamber A to B. Since the membrane between the chambers is semi-permeable, the solute molecules cannot move from A to B or B to A.
