Solution

The correct option is D tetrasporangiate
An anther is a knob-like fertile part of male reproductive organ (stamen) in plants. A longitudinal groove lengthwise separates the theca (sheath or covering) in a typical anther. Now, it has 2 lobes which are termed as dithecous.

A transverse section of this typical anther shows four chambers called microsporangia inside it. Hence it is termed a tetrasporangiate. The microsporangia are the sac-like structures in which the pollen or microspores are developed. Hence option d is correct.
