Based on the information given in the bar graph, answer the following questions:
(i) If Tom and Joy combined their comics, how many more or fewer comics would they have as compared to Sam’s comics?
(ii) If Tom gets 5 more comics, how many comics will he have?

(i) According to the bar graph,
Number of comics Tom has =30
Number of comics Joy has =20
Number of comics both of them have =30+20=50
Number of comics Sam has =45
5045=5
So, the combined number of comics with Tom and Joy are 5 more than that of Sam’s.
(ii) Number of comics Tom has =30
Number of new comics he gets =5
Number of comics he has now =30+5=35
Hence, Option D is the correct answer.
