Before antibiotics were discovered, which of these were the methods by which diseases were dealt with?
Cut off the part from where the disease was spreading.
The first antibiotic was discovered in the year 1928 by Alexander Fleming. He had discovered it by accident. Before antibiotics were found, people ill from diseases would either wait for the diseases to go away on it's own over a period of time or they would amputate the part if possible from where the infection or disease was spreading.
