We have $\left[\begin{array}{cc}x-y& 4\\ z+6& x+y\end{array}\right]$ = $\left[\begin{array}{cc}8& w\\ 0& 6\end{array}\right]$
By comparing the terms, we get
$x-y=8;w=4;z+6=0;x+y=6$
$\therefore$ on solving of $x,y,z$, we get
$x=7,y=-1,z=-6$
$\therefore x+y+z=7+(-1)+(-6)=0$
