The correct option is B Euro II
Bharat Stage Emission standards or Mass Emission Standards are laid down by the Government of India in order to regulate the output of air pollutants from internal combustion engines (an engine which generates motive power by the burning of petrol, oil, or other fuels) and spark-ignition engine (the combustion process of the air-fuel mixture is ignited by a spark), including the motor vehicles.
The permissible emission levels for petrol and diesel vehicles which have been implemented in Europe are referred to as Euro norms. However, the Government in India has adopted and used the Euro norms as reference for fuel quality and the method of testing.
Bharat Stage II Emission Standards are equivalent to Euro II norms. It was introduced for 2 and 4 wheelers in 2005 and is currently not applicable in any cities of India. Hence option b is correct.
