Bholu was still taken aback by getting to know the different components of blood, but he also began appreciating how the different components work together as a single fluid. He asked the doctor, “How does blood reach different parts of the body?” The doctor replied that within our body there are ‘specialized’ tube-like structures which channelize the flow of blood. They are known as:
Blood vessels
Blood flows through the blood vessels and reaches every part of the body. These are tubes that carry blood and come in varying thickness. These vessels reach almost every part of the body, reaching almost every tissue.
