Pages read in the first book in one week which is $7$ days with $25$ pages everyday.

For $1$ week $= 25 \times 7 = 175$ pages

Pages read in the second book in $12$ days with $23$ pages everyday.(given)
$= 23 \times 12 = 276$ pages

$∴$ Total number of pages read $= 175 + 276 = 451$ pages
