Birds flying high in the sky do not cast their shadow on the ground.

  1. For a shadow to form we need a surface or a screen close to the object.
  2. A bird flying high in the sky is very far from the ground ( which can be taken as the surface for the shadow to form).
  3. Hence the shadow is not formed .
