Bisect a straight angle, using ruler and compasses. Measure each part.

  • Draw a line I and mark a point O on it.
  • With O as centre, draw arc with radius more than half of AB Such that it intersects line I at two-point A and B.
  • Take A and B as centres, now with the same radius draw arcs such that they intersect each other at interior of angle a point C.
  • Join OC.
  • Thus, CO is required bisector of straight angle.
Measure bisected angle

On measuring the divided parts we get measure of each part
