Question

Blowing air onto a mirror makes it _______.

Open in App
Solution

A mirror or a glass is at a lower temperature than the air that comes of our mouth, i.e. the air we blew is hotter than the mirror. So, when we blew (hotter) air onto a (colder) mirror, the air starts to cool down on the mirror's surface. Hence, it creates a foggy substance which makes the mirror look hazy.
