Let the cost price of watch be $Rs.x$

Selling price of watch $=Rs.190$

Loss $\%=5\%$

Now according to the question-

$x-5\%$ of $x=190$

$x-\frac{5}{100}x=190$

$x-\frac{x}{20}=190$

$\frac{20x-x}{20}=190$

$\Rightarrow 19x=20\times 190$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{20\times 190}{19}=200$

Hence the cost price of watch is $Rs.200$.
