Boiling tubes with balloons tied to their necks are immersed in three different liquid samples as shown in the image. Which sample contains hot water?

We know that air expands on heating.

Here,in beaker B the balloon is slightly more inflated.

This means the air inside the boiling tube B has expanded more in comparison to the rest of the tubes.

Thus, beaker B would be containing hot water.
