Solution

The correct option is D Aves
Aves is a class of phylum Chordata. It includes birds. Birds are feathered bipeds, truly flying vertebrates. Most of them can fly except flightless birds (e.g. Ostrich). Bone marrow is absent in aves. Their endoskeleton is fully ossified (bony) and the long bones are hollow with air cavities. Such bones are known as pneumatic bones. It is an adaptation for aerial life of birds. It helps them in flying.
