A thread is a yarn which is made of fibres. Many time, the end of the thread is separated into a few thin strands called fibres. This makes it difficult to pass the thread through the eye of the needle. ​

This is the reason why Boojho cannot pass a thread through a needle eye even though she has a perfect eyesight.​
